Peak District
A series of images taken at the Peak District.
All of the photos are a 3 step bracketed HDR style images. these were deliberately taken with HDR in mind I set the camera to bracket the images at 0.7 apart. An ND(neutral density) filter was used on the water shots to allow me to extend the shutter speed to get a milky type effect to the water, it works in a lot of the images but not all, I`ve left in the ones that didn't work so you can see for yourselves how using an ND Grad can alter the way that you take images and that if you extend the shutter speed to far how it can smooth the water out too much, a slower shutter would have been better on a few of them. It all depends on what you like or don't like. The editing for these images was a simple HDR conversion and then the tones and colours adjusted in Photoshop.
Overall I'm pleased with how these images have came out the vibrant green of the moss covered rocks with the cloudy light that was present on the day have turned out how I remember seeing them on the day.
